The Statistical Abstract is an end of year report that has a one-year lag between the posted publication date and the date when data collection was completed. The statistical data is largely compiled from the Division of Analytic Studies' Statistical Reports series. The difference between the content of the Statistical Reports and the Statistical Abstracts is that the latter represents a compilation of historical numbers from many previous published statistical reports.
